    Hi there,

    1 - How do I remove the menu and the "Bridge" logo from the top of my front page: http://sakhr.co.uk/test2508/

    2- How do I make the page end at the bottom of the photo? I don't want the black bar and the social icons below the photo.

    3 - I want to add two more buttons (so four in total). How can I do that?

    4 - And one final thing - is this page mobile safe? I tried on Safari on iPhone, and the right hand edge of the text is cut off (the letter I at the end of Al-Makhadhi).

    Thank you very much :)

    Hello,

    1. and 2. Please choose landing page template for your home page:

    https://www.screencast.com/t/YB1Qr1DLcR9C

    It will remove  header and also footer from your home page.

    3. Unfortunately, there is no option to add four buttons to Qode Slider. You can try to use Revolution slider and add buttons to slider content. Revolution slider is required plugin which comes with our theme.

    4. You need to use advanced responsiveness slider settings for this purpose.

    Go to Qode Slider> Sliders and click edit  on your qode slider. Now,choose yes for advanced responsiveness option as shown on screenshot.

    https://www.screencast.com/t/PoTg8NG16 By choosing this option you will be able to input values for slider elements on seven breakpoint coefficients, in a scale from 0 to 1. You can see default values and change it if you want.

    That all worked perfectly, thank you.

    But how do I get the social icons (FB, Tw, Insta) on to the landing page. I want them over the image at the top right.

    Hello there,

    If you want to use social icons on the top of landing page, you can't use landing page template. You need to use full width template instead and add your icons to header bottom right widget in Appearance>Widgets:

    Please change page template and add your icons to widget. Then we will send you custom css to hide logo and footer on this specific page.

    Thanks - ok, the social icons are on there. So, if you could give me the custom CSS to get rid of the logo, menu and footer, that would be great.

    Also, how do I move the main text/subtitle/buttons down a little bit?

    Hello,

    Add this snippet in Qode Options>General>Custom Css:

    } .page-id-8 footer {
        display: none !important;
    } .page-id-8 .q_logo a {

    Thank you.

    Something weird is happening - it looks great on Safari/Chrome desktop. But when I check on Safari/Chrome iPhone, I can see the menu, but I can't see the social icons! (I don't want menu, I do want social icons).

    Hello,

    Header widgets are disabled by default for mobile devices. Add this snippet in Qode Options>General>Custom Css:

    @media only screen and (max-width: 768px) {
      .page-id-8 .header_bottom_right_widget_holder {
        display: block !important;
        position: relative !important;
        top: 30px !important;
      }
    } .page-id-8 .mobile_menu_button {
        display: none !important;
    }

    Great, thank you.

    -How do I move the text down a bit on that page, so that it doesn't cover my face?

    -And how do I add an email social icon button (next to the Twitter/Facebook/Instagram buttons)?

    Hello,

    1. Your slide is vertically aligned to middle. Edit your slide, disable vertical alignment to middle and try to set some value in percents for content from top:

    https://www.screencast.com/t/zcqhJGtk3MI

    2. Please follow instructions how to use icons in widget areas:

    You need to use icon element instead of social icon and you can use envelope icon for this purpose

    Ah sorry, I must have been seeing a cached version.

    That looks good on desktop - but how can I move the text down **on mobile**?

  • lio119 replied

    Also, when the browser window size gets small, this huge white border appears at the bottom and it pushes the text up:

    That doesn't work well. See screenshots.

    Portrait: I have to increase the slider height to 920 to get the text away from my face. And then the buttons are too low!

    Landscape: I have it at 400, and the text is crashing into the social icons, and the buttons are falling off the page at the bottom.

    Hello,

    We set slider height for mobile to 667px:

    https://www.screencast.com/t/4sqLOV9tmf

    changed values for breakpoint coefficients in  slider  advanced responsiveness settings:

    https://www.screencast.com/t/R2ck6Ksuzx9n

    and we added this snippet in Qode Options>General>Custom Css:

    @media only screen and (max-width:
    768px) {
      .carousel-inner .slider_content
    .text.one_by_one {
        top: 100px !important;
      }
      h4.q_slide_subtitle span {
        padding-bottom: 0 !important;
      }
    }
     @media only screen and (min-width: 480px) and (max-width: 760px){
            .q_slider .carousel, .qode_slider_preloader, .carousel-inner>.item{
                height: 360px !important;
            }
        }

    And here is how it looks now:

    https://www.screencast.com/t/vmKYmwDfH

    https://www.screencast.com/t/XpzWaAwRwi

    And to remove white line on some sizes we added this snippet:

    @media only screen and (min-width: 760px) and (max-width: 1000px) {
      .q_slider .carousel, .qode_slider_preloader, .carousel-inner>.item {
        height: 1024px !important;
      }
    }
