For some reason it looks like my slider is zooming in to my photos.
How do I disable this feature. See the actual image compared to the screenshot for my website.

The slider background image has:

It appears that the slider height is a bit larger than it should be - the image is resized to cover the entire container and some cropping occurs on both sides.
Try to reduce the slider height a bit and check your slider again. To change the slider height, navigate to your page admin and scroll down to the field named Layer Slider or Qode Slider Shortcode and set desired value for the height parameter:

I was able to tweak the banner a little bit but changing the slider height doesn't affect the image. It is very close now but there's still a little bit of the image that is getting cut off at the top.
Do you have any other suggestions I could try?
Also is there a way to make control the width of the images with background color grey?

At the moment, background-size is set to contain in your custom CSS:
This means that the background image is responsive, but it will not cover the entire background on all screen sizes. We think that background-size:cover works better because it will cover the entire area at the cost of some cropping.
If using background-size:cover does not suit your needs, please create the slider using the Layer Slider plugin, which comes with Bridge as bundled plugin. Layer Slider is more suitable for grid layout, and you should be able to create simply slider like this easily. To make the slider responsive you have to enable Responsive option in slider settings. This type of slider has advanced options and features.
