I purchased bridge to utilize for a non-profit organization. The client had to revise name of the organization, purchase a new domain name. The old domain name was cancelled, they purchased the bridge for the site. We have not launched the site and need instructions on how to transfer the purchased bridge to the new site. Any information or tutorials you could send would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks Again,

    Hi Cathy,

Here are the instructions on how to migrate WP from local server to live site - the same instructions should be followed if you migrate wp from one host to another:

    http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-move-wordpress-from-local-server-to-live-site/

To export/import the entire database you can use WP Migrate DB plugin:

I transport the information to the new hosted site. ONE CHALLENGE, the WP BAKERY PLUG IN needs to be activated. I can not reactivate it on the site. This will not allow me to edit the template I purchased. I have the Token Key as well as the license code. How do I activate the WP BAKERY PLUG IN so I can continue to use it on the site I am building. BRIDGE THEME from QODE is what I purchased. Please advise ASAP... I bought theme to assist with the quick turn around for building the site. TIME IS CLICKING

WPBakery Plugin that came with the theme is not activated. I reinstalled the theme to try to correct the problem. When you click on the WPBakery it sends you to the WPBakery site for authorization. When I look at the plugin in the plug in menu,  it says that it is activated. When I click the WP Bakery in the menu bar it sends me to an authorization menu. I have WP Bakery that I purchased to utilize on a site outside of this theme. I bought the theme because it has all the plugins packaged. PLEASE advise my deadline clock is TICKING! I also tried to confirm license through the token item and purchased theme license requested with the evato plug in. NO LUCK

The following are approvals for the theme. I can not get the updates to work, nor can I get permissions for the WPBakery plugin.

    Hi Cathy,

Regarding the plugin licence, WPBakery, Layer Slider and Revolution Slider are bundled plugins. We've purchased extended license for them and we can't give you license code because of policy and terms of Themeforest, so we included these plugins in our theme (you can find their installation files in bridge/plugins folder) and their latest supported version comes with each theme release. Your plugin is legal and ready to be used as soon as you install/activate the plugin upon theme installation. You can ignore the messages for further activation you’ve got in your admin area - the plugins will work without the activation.

Here is the explanation provided in Envato documentation:

Some plugins may ask for a purchase code for registration/activation once installed, however, you can simply ignore these messages as bundled plugins do not require activation or registration. The plugin will still work as intended with the theme once the theme has been activated/registered.

For more info, check the following article:

To be able to use WPBakery Page Builder in blog posts and portfolios, go to WP admin -> WPBakery Page Builder -> Role Manager -> Post types: Custom -> enable page builder for all post types, including 'post' and 'portfolio_page':

    https://monosnap.com/file/oThPgaq8UmW7PZRbvfWd2nFHXMg7m5

To edit pages, just go to your page admin and enable Backend Editor:

    https://monosnap.com/file/fl0RJU4UEytfnyMo9wlFWnOhfB3AYW

Then you should be able to add new or edit existing page elements:

If you experience any issue with WPBakery functionality, please describe exact steps to reproduce the problem, send us login URL and temporary WP admin access to take a look.

I deleted all files of the Bridge Template from the c-panel of my web host and did an reinstall of the Bridge template.

Install was smooth. I started the website over from scratch. The WPBakery is not working. The plug-in will not allow you to edit from the backend nor can you edit the page from the frontend. When you click on edit, it redirects you to the front end. You are unable to edit your new or existing page. I have attached a screenshots of my current settings. I deactivated WPBridge and uploaded a different page editor. I had to upload a different plugin from what should have been included in your theme. You sent instructions to click on the page and then click on the backend editor to utilize WPBakery. When you hit edit page, it redirects you to the front end and as I communicated earlier, you are unable to edit the front or backend. PBSandwich seems to be working. I would like to utilize the WPBakery editor. Please advise. I appreciate the attention given and would like to resolve this ASAP.

There are major issues with the update for BRIDGE THEME. I started developing the site before the updates. All was well, I could edit widgets. I could edit and add to the portfolio. Since the update, I am not able to edit nor add items to the portfolio, I can not add widgets, nor does the WPBakery work. You continue to send me information on how the template should function. The issue is... the template and the background editor is not functioning properly. It basically does not work. When will you have a fix for WPBakery. When I remove the template I am able to a build a simple site. I bought the template to save time. This is my first purchase with WPBridge Theme. Please advise...My clock is ticking...I should not have to repurchase a new theme from another packager. Would like to resolve.

Oh WHAT a MESS! I got another update from your theme. Reinstalled the plug-in...WPBAKERY! It destroyed my pages. Please see the attached, the pages were replaced with coding. I can not edit it from the front or back end. I went through all of my PLUG-INS! I  think we can agree, there is a major issue with WPBAKERY. I deleted it and got what is seen in the attached files. If I install it, I can not get my pages to navigate to page editor. Please advise, I really need to finish this site up.

I am still waiting for a response. At this point I would like a refund. The Bridge Template does not work. I have tried everything, Still waiting for a solution from your team. Everyday requires an additional 24 hour wait, with what appears to be a generated response. My browsers are all up to date. Word press is up to date, I have updated your product and still am not able to edit my pages on the front or backend.

TIC, TIC, TOC, I am still waiting for a response from Qode Themes. I have sent several post, including pics of the issue. Once again, the issue is with WPBakery. It will not allow you to edit your pages from the front or backend. The challenge started with the update. Unfortunately, I was designing the site between updates. I did some research and it looks like it is a javascript issue. For now, I had to purchase another theme...with the clock ticking to an approaching deadline, it was better to move forward. If anyone has a solution to this problem please let me know. If not, I would like a refund. Hope this is an isolated case with Qode Theme, they seemed like a pretty good theme.

    Hi Cathy,

We are sorry for the delay in responding. When other users respond, tickets get pushed down on the list - we didn't have a good indication how old is this ticket.

In order page content to be displayed properly, WPBakery plugin should be installed and activated ( here we are not referring to the 'activation' explained in our previous reply ). Otherwise, if WPBakery is not installed and activated, the elements will not be properly rendered and the code will appear instead. First make sure that WPBakery is installed and activated.

Please add this line into .htaccess file on server:

    SubstituteMaxLineLength 10m

...as explained in the article https://qode.ticksy.com//article/11730

After that try to edit pages again.

If the problem persists, send us login URL and temporary WP admin access in a PRIVATE REPLY to take a closer look. Thank you.

Thanks so much for circling back. The theme was purchased for a site with a quick turn around. Due to the tight deadline, I had to purchase another theme. Two questions

    1. Could I transfer the theme to my next website

    2. Could you send information on the steps to insure that the rights are transferrable to another site.

    3. Once I get the new site up in running, I will utilize the information you just sent. Thanks again.

    Hi Cathy,

You are welcome, thank you for understanding.

If you have uninstalled Bridge from your current domain, you can use it on another website/domain, so you do not have to transfer rights - just install Bridge on a new domain. Each purchased item can be used on one domain, so it is important that you do not use the same licence on multiple domains at the same time.

If you experience the same issue on new domain, send us temporary WP admin credentials in a private reply when you are ready.

    All the best,
