Hi, looking at my system logs today (in Woocommerce Status tab) I found a recurring Fatal Error that appears to have something to do with the Code Instagram widget. The error is being logged every 20 minutes or so....
Can you please tell me why my Code Instagram widget is causing a Fatal Error message and what (if anything) I need to do about it?

Try exporting whole Error Log file (but from the server itself) and send it to us so we can send it over to our developers to take a closer look.
As for the Instagram itself, is it working properly or not on your website?

Hi, Instagram seems to be working fine but does slow the site down a bit. We still have this fatal error showing up however.
I was not able to export the error log file from the server, but I have attached a copy of the fatal error log found in our wp admin under woocommerce/status/logs. It is just the same error repeating over and over.
I would appreciate your advice once the developers have looked it it.

Thanks for that.
I've sent it over to our developers to take a closer look.
But we ended up needing to know which PHP version are you using. And you can try switching this.
And also provide wp-admin credentials so we can take a closer look.
The php version I am running is 7.1.16 and wp 4.9.5
The qode Instagram widget started acting strangely all of a sudden, and raw code was visible in the place in the footer where the widget was located (on some pages).
Fyi we are also running wp rocket with full minimization and combination on html, css and js files.
I won't provide wp admin credentials at this stage as we have now deactivated the plugin due to the issues and are happy to proceed without it.
Hopefully your developers can still have a look at the error logs and see if there was any obvious cause for the strange behaviour.
Hello there again,
Please provide wp-admin and FTP credentials.
Alright. The developers are still looking at it and will try to reproduce it and figure out what the issue is.
As soon as I have any new information I'll update you.
What is the solution to this issue? I have the same error using the Qode Instagram Widget in my website.
Please make sure you have updated version of PHP. Here is a one recommended by Wordpress:
and it has to be at least PHP 5.6. Also this could be caused by a 3rd party plugin. You could try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
if the issue still persists, send us your url and wp-admin details in your own, private ticket and we'll take a closer look.
Thank you very much for your reply.
Will follow your advice and will be in touch if need be... fingers crossed! =)
