h1 for slider

    Hello,

    I use the bridge-child theme (which is the child theme already present in the bridge them I bought).

    As a previous user, I need to have the title of my qode slider as h1, and not h2, for SEO reasons.

    Your answer in the previous closed ticket was to modify (hard code) the parent theme. But I use the bridge child theme.

    Please tell me how to transform my h2 tag for qode slider, as an h1, in my case.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi,

    If you don`t want to hard code can use a custom jQuery code for this fix.

    $j(document).ready(function(){
        $j('.q_slide_title').replaceWith(function(){
            return $j("<h1 />", {html: $j(this).html()});
        });
    });

    Best Regards,

    Thanks for this answer.

    I did not get exactly the beginning of your answer. I am OK to hard code a change, but I would like to know in which file, given the fact that I use the "bridge child" theme of the zip: as I use this "bridge child" theme, do I need to change in the parent theme anyway like in the post of the previous user?

    Hi,

    You need to change a slider.php file.

    \wp-content\themes\bridge\includes\shortcodes\shortcode-elements\slider.php

    Or just paste script from previous answer in Qode Options > General > Custom Code - Custom JS

    Hey guys,

    It's really an issue we want to setup once (and not relying on remembering the change is needed with every theme update)

    No plans to add an option to choose the type of headings?

    Hi,

    You can save a this file ( slider.php ) in a child theme and this changes will be stay on every future theme update. Also I will pass this on to our developers, to consider improving the a heading type for a slider on a some future theme update. Thanks for understanding.

    Let me know if there's anything else I could help with.

    Hi, when I add the JavaScript snippet it changes the font-style of the slider text completely. Is there a way to fix this?

    Hi, this is the page: https://kl7.dk/

    I can't apply the JS though, because then the styling looks awful and the page is live so :)

    But I assume that the same classes apply, so you can send the CSS anyway?

    Hello,

    You can change it with this custom css.

    Just change values of attributes to that you want and add attributes you want same like this 3.

    .q_slider h1 {    Font-size:80px !important;    color:#999999 !important;    font-family:sans-serif !important;    }

    Let us know if there is anything else.
