Since we switched to CDN a long time ago and demo import files are not bound to the download file, we regret to inform you that at the moment Bridge users won't be able to do demo import.

This problem is reported and technical service from CDN is working on fixing this issue.

We hope it will be resolved in less then 24hours Thank you for understanding.

My site loads unbelievably slow. It does not even show up when trying to put it through the GTMetrix grader. I have installed numerous cahcing plug-ins and none of them help at all. This is a huge concern for myself and especially my client. Please help fix this. Thank you.

    Hello there,

Bridge theme have a lot of options, and because of that there is a lot of things that are going on in the back (conditional functions, calculations etc.), but beside that all scripts inside the theme are already minified and page speed test offer acceptable speed grades. Of course that we are improving theme functions with every theme release so they can render faster and in order to be more secure, but other than that we can't do much more. Our demo site are not optimized, main purpose is to present all theme functionalities, and end users should increase performance on their own, and to to make sure that they are using reliable hosting service providers with high resources, and with fast and secure servers.
Our developers, while testing, managed to optimize Bridge theme for speed, and load time to below 2 seconds.
Here are some general tips for speeding up your website, and please note, you can't minimize files like js.php and css.php, because they are dynamically created.
    1) You can check how to optimize your website here: (in this part, minimization of those files will be mentioned):
    2) Optimize your images with some tool:
    3) Also you can install some plugin for cache, like WP Super Cache:
    or premium one
    4) You can enable gzip compression on your server. You should paste this code to .htaccess file located in your folder:
    <ifModule mod_gzip.c> mod_gzip_on Yes mod_gzip_dechunk Yes mod_gzip_item_include file .(html?|txt|css|js|php|pl)$ mod_gzip_item_include handler ^cgi-script$ mod_gzip_item_include mime ^text/.* mod_gzip_item_include mime ^application/x-javascript.* mod_gzip_item_exclude mime ^image/.* mod_gzip_item_exclude rspheader ^Content-Encoding:.*gzip.* </ifModule>
    5) Leverage browser caching:
    6) Use ate least PHP 5.4.x or greater in order to process PHP code faster, and to fix older version bugs. Note that wordpress is now recommending PHP 5.6 or greater
    7) If you have a lot of plugins installed you should disable the ones you don't use or that aren't completely necessary.
Important: We suggest you not to install any caching tool before you finish with your website modifications, because this sometimes could cause the problem. So we thought that you don't have to be obsessed with your website speed before you finish with its modifications.

    Hope this helps,
