    Hi,

    I just relogged into my under construction website (local) and all the visual aspect have moved (spacing, font...)

    - is there a reason for it (like theme update?)

    - can you please update WP bakery on the theme?

    Thank you!

    How to update and receive support if I do not purchase a direct license?

    In such case, you need to wait for your WordPress theme author to update WPBakery Page Builder on their side and push it to you. Also, support related questions should be addressed to your WordPress theme provider.

    Hello,

    We don't know for sure what's happening,since we can't see your website. You can try to update your theme.

    In order to update your theme properly, follow instructions from our article:

    http://bridge.qodeinteractive.com/documentation/2-getting-started/2-3-installing-the-bridge-theme/2-3-4-theme-update/

    And watch our video tutorial

    and also update  Wp Bakery and other bundled plugins by following instructions:

     Just in case make a full backup before updating.

    For bundled plugins you can't receive support from plugin author, and if you have any question regarding this plugin you can ask us and we will help you,

    Thanks Daniel,

    Will have a look and update! In the meantime I have a problem with the Qcode carousel:

    - how can change the speed ?

    - how can add navigation arrow?

    - can I randomize where the carousel starts so it doesnt always start by the same image but keeps going in alphabetical order?

    Thank you!

    Hello Pauline,

    1. To achieve that you would need to alter some theme codes.

    Open theme folder / js / default.js file and there locate the Init Qode Carousel section.

    Then you need to change the variable for animation duration. Just set some numeric value according to your needs. Please note that numeric values represent number of milliseconds (to increase speed set lover value for example 500). Take a look at the screenshor for further help: http://screencast.com/t/moSCIKHUzp Then, use some compression tool like http://jscompress.com and save minified version of default.js (as default.min.js) into theme folder / js / default.min.js file.

    2. Unfortunately there  is no option for this. You can use  Advanced Image gallery>carousel type instead of Qode Carousel and there you can use arrows:

    https://www.screencast.com/t/EHDhI6mVNn

    3. Unfortunately, there is no option to randomize order of carousel images.

    Best regards,

    Daniel

    Hi Pauline,

    1. Please add this snippet to Qode Options>General>Custom Css:

    .blog_holder.blog_single article h2 {
        font-size: 0 !important;
        line-height: 10px !important;
    }

    2. You have to modify one of the template files.We suggest you to make this modification via child theme - that way, the modification will work after the theme update and you will not change parent theme file. First you need to install child theme just like any other theme (bridge-child.zip file can be found in the folder with the installation files that you downloaded from Themeforest) and activate it.
    You have to connect to server via FTP, download blog_single-loop.php file which is on the following path:
    wp-content/themes/bridge/templates/blog_single-loop.php
    Open it in your text editor, locate this piece of code:
    <?php the_time('d M'); ?>
    ...and replace it with this:
    <?php the_time('d M Y'); ?>

    You have to make this change on several locations (4) within the same file to make it work for all post formats:

    Thanks Daniel, this is great!

    1. How can I set a backround image to a whole inner page please? I'd like to replace the white with an image with low opacity to counter the white effect client isn't too keen of :) Like on here http://doyourmagic.paulinelephew.com/argentina

    2. also for the same page (argentina), what is the best size in px for the header image?

    3. For some reason my anchor links to work from the footer destination submenu to my destination page, could you please unblock me on this one? I'd like for example for the Asia link to land directly on the asia subsection of the destinations page

    Thank you!

    Hello,

    1. In order to set background image to whole page, you have to edit the page, enable uniform p age background and upload image.

    2.  The width of the image has to be 1920px and you can use images with different height, except for parallax image where each image height has to be larger than 1000px

    3. Edit your rows on destination page. Add anchor id for each row. Here is an example:

    https://www.screencast.com/t/z9jhlmscK

    Edit your destinations menu  and add custom links like thisL

    http://doyourmagic.paulinelephew.com/destinations/#theamericas

    https://www.screencast.com/t/4lmIIpHmM

    And since anchor links are supported by default only for main menu we added this js code in Qode Options>General>Custom JS

    $j('.footer_top .widget_nav_menu li.menu-item a ').addClass('anchor');

    For revolution slider responsiveness please check this video tutorial:

    Footer responsiveness has been affected by this code you put in Appearance>Customise>Additional Css:

    - Actually the links with the problems are the logos not the images, as per screenshots enclosed

    - There is also links problems from the general destination page, some links do not work like india for example. If you click on india picture on destination page nothing happens, yet the link is properly entered in the back end

    - removed custom css for footer but now it looks very unbalanced, any advice?

    Hello,

    1. You can't add links for advanced gallery in media gallery image settings. You have to choose image behavior open custom links and add links separated by comma in Advanced gallery settings:

    https://www.screencast.com/t/AE3YpdKx20

    2. Can you be more specific and tell us what exactly you're trying to achieve?

    You can put the code in media query and it will not affect your mobile footer:

    @media only screen and (min-width: 600px) {
      .four_columns > .column1, .four_columns > .column2, .four_columns > .column3, .four_columns > .column4 {
        width: 21% !important;
        float: left !important;

     Still have a problem with links:

    • Links destinations images: for example when you are on the page destinations some of the links do not work despite me putting the links in the back end as you can see on enclosed screenshot. Try clicking on the image INDIA and see?

    Also, client is asking for a gradient black to grey background behind menu (on hero + on scroll), how can I achieve a gradient BG and have show at all time, even on hero baner (right now there is no BG even when set as 0.6 transparency in Qcode options)

    but it's still overlaping, can you please help?

    If you still have the issue on your end, please try by clearing browser cache.

    2. Can you please be more specific regarding this issue and tell us which image you want to enlarge?

    https://codex.wordpress.org/Importing_Content

    But it is possible it can't work properly if you created those post with some other theme.

    5.  You didn't set any margin to first icon. This is a correct shortcode you can put to your widgets:

    [social_icons type="circle_social" icon="fa-linkedin" use_custom_size="yes" custom_size="22" link="https://www.linkedin.com/company/global-dmc-alliance-gda/" target="_self" icon_margin="0 15px 0 0" icon_color="#000000" icon_hover_color="#f64d5c" background_color="#ffffff"][social_icons type="circle_social" icon="fa-facebook" use_custom_size="yes" custom_size="23" link="https://www.facebook.com/GlobalDMCAlliance/" target="_blank" icon_margin="0 15px 0 0" icon_color="#000000" icon_hover_color="#f64d5c" background_color="#ffffff" background_hover_color="#ffffff"][social_icons type="circle_social" icon="fa-instagram" use_custom_size="yes" custom_size="22" link="https://instagram.com/gda_mice/" target="_blank" icon_margin="0 15px 0 0" icon_color="#000000" icon_hover_color="#f64d5c" background_color="#ffffff" background_hover_color="#ffffff"][social_icons type="circle_social" icon="fa-envelope" use_custom_size="yes" custom_size="22" target="_self" icon_color="#000000" icon_hover_color="#f64d5c" background_color="#ffffff"]

    Hi Daniel,

    1st I'd like to say that this is the most outstanding support I've seen in years and I've already bought the theme twice just for that reason. Thank you so much and I'm looking forward to mastering your theme using it on a variety of projects.

    1. Image I'd like to show at screen height are the main large images on any main page/destination page. They are 1920x1275 so a bit higher than screen size (1080px i think). I'd like to add a line of code that would say that the container should not exceed screen height - and I understand that changes depending on device. I've done some research but what I've tried hasn't work. I can resize all images (gasp!) but if I can achieve that with code it would be so much easier!

    2. On destination page on pink banner with word  maps icons + anchor links, images are not linked despite saying yes to link to icon and puting link on media file in library, how can I make teh images clickable please?

    Thanks again,

    Pauline

    Hello Pauline,

    Thank you for your kind words and thank you for using our theme.

    If you have some spare time and if you are satisfied with our support, we would really appreciate it if you would be willing to rate us with 5 stars on this link - http://themeforest.net/downloads By doing this you will be helping us build even better themes and provide better support. Thank you in advance

    1. You have to set images with smaller height. Responsive image on desktop view will always display full image height. Or disable responsive image and define title height:

    https://www.screencast.com/t/5i06yPqi0y

    2. Please note, when you are using images in icon with text element, images cann't be linked. You can use single image element for this purpose, add your links in single image settings, then add text blocks below single images to add text.

    Thank you Daniel. I just left a 5* review :)

    Just got out of a meeting with the client and they have more requests...

    1. When scrolling with a mouth it doesn't stop right on the section (they used the about page as an example) Is there any way that scroll would stop right on section instead of cutting it/landing mid-section?

    https://screenshots.firefox.com/PyYzdKKoBAsjdHwJ/doyourmagic.paulinelephew.com

    2. Is it possible to add a cta button and arrow that scrolls down (like the arrow up) in images on destination pages? (within the title container, under title)

    https://screenshots.firefox.com/MKZy7ubRtseM29vZ/doyourmagic.paulinelephew.com

    3. Would the images resize automatically in the masonry advanced image gallery or they have to be a predefined size to neatly fit the screen like on demo?

    Hello Pauline,

    1. Please not there is no option to control this  - different devices, mouses have different settings and there is no solution in code which can improve this behavior. However You can try to disable smooth scroll in Qode Options>General:

    https://www.screencast.com/t/ZU1WGFqrZDHU

    2. The only way is to hide title on this page and to use Qode Slider instead - with one image. Qode slider have this functionality - to add a button and to add  scroll to section arrow.

    http://bridge.qodeinteractive.com/documentation/8-qode-slider/

    3. You have to define image size for each image in advanced gallery settings:

    Hi Daniel,

    - Can I bulk edit all posts so that title area is hidden and page bg is white?

    - regarding the title area, i put parallax with 800px height. On my 13" it's perfect but on a 15" the ideal size would be 600px (and title isnt centered anymore which isn't looking good)

    Can I, with media queries, say that if screen is 15" then title area height is 600px, if screen is 13" then title area height is 800px, etc...?

    Thank you

    Hi,

    - If you want to change or remove title area for all blog posts, you can do that in Qode Options > Title. This will also affect all pages. Additionally, every page or post has it's own Title options, which override the ones from Qode Options > Title. So if you set everything to "blank" or "default" your page or post will inherit settings from Qode Options.

    3790596620.png

    - Parallax effect is usually used on full screen and full width desktop screens. It is basically designed for those screens at first place.

    Note that parallax image should be really high in pixel size, because of the parallax scrolling effect. So, since height must be fully utilized, then if image is much bigger in width, it will loose some part on edges. Important part is that the images need to be at least double the height in pixels then the section that parallax actually takes in frontend.

    If this didn't answer your question, please let us know, and provide us with page URL in question.

    Thank you.

    Yes, custom CSS can be added to Qode Options > General > Custom Code > Custom CSS.

    - how can I edit the 404 please? not the title message in Qode options but page background and such

    Looking at your site, it appears that you already managed to do this?

    - Contact form on slider goes beyond box on small screen and GDPR consent checkbox is cut.

    On the screenshot provided, this doesn't appear to be the case? And when I resize my screen, both the contact form and consent checkbox fit without getting cut off:

    If you need further help, please let me know what screen size you're viewing it on, and explain this a bit more, as I'm not quite sure what you wish to change.

    For future queries, I kindly ask you to open a new ticket per question, as that will make them more navigable and easy to manage.
