    Hello,

    I have the full screen menu selected right now and the icon is fa-bars.

    I want to have another icon there instead- fa-bookmark with a title over it that says MENU.

    Is this possible??

    When I deselect Full Screen Menu, I get the bookmark but then the menu opens up on the side instead of the full screen.

    When Full Screen Menu is selected, everything looks great except that I'd love to have a different icon.

    Thanks!

    Sonja

    Hello Sonja,

    body:not(.popup_menu_opened) .side_menu_button .fa-bars:before {
        content: "\f02e" !important;
    }
    body:not(.popup_menu_opened) .side_menu_button a:before {
        content: "Menu" !important;
    }

    Please tell us which icon you want to have when full screen menu is selected?

    Best regards,

    Daniel

    Hello!

    I was wondering if there was a way to do fa-bookmark and have the word MENU right above it

    Thanks!

    Hi Sonja,

    Add this snippet to Qode Options>General>Custom Css:

    .side_menu_button .fa-bars:before {
        content: "\f02e" !important;
    }
    .side_menu_button a:before {
        content: "Menu" !important;
        display: block !important;
    }

    Best regards,

    Daniel

    I had tried that f02e before...unfortunately it doesn't work.  Instead of seeing the book mark icon, it reads f02e on the page instead.  I removed the forward slash to see if it made a difference, but it doesn't show the bookmark either.

    I can't figure out why...

    Hello,

    Please add \ before number so it will be:

    content: "\f02e" !important;

    For some reason, this cannot be pasted from ticksy code.

    Best regards,

    Daniel

    No matter what I did, the bookmark would not show up for a full screen menu.  The bookmark appears when I select other menu types, though.

    I also noticed that if I'm full screen, the main pages wont link to anything and I only have one set of sub pages.

    For example, Large Scale Printing main page wont link anywhere.  The subpages show up, but the 3rd level menu items wont appear.

    Is that normal?

    I can't tell if something is broken or if its a limitation of this menu type.

    Thanks for your help!

    Hi Sonja,

    1. Please send us your wp-admin login details in private reply and we'll take a closer look

    2. This is a limitation of the menu type. Default behavior for parent menu item is to display sub level menu on click and there is no option to link parent menu items.

    Best regards,

    Daniel

    Hi Daniel,

    Thanks for your reply.  I think we're going to stay away from this menu for now...it's not very user friendly.

    Have a great day
