    Hi,

    You can easily remove blog author on both blog posts and single post pages in Qode Options -> Blog:

    1) Find Hide Author under the Blog List section and select Yes (this will hide author from blog page)

    2) Find Show Blog Author on Blog Single and set to No (this will hide author from single post pages)

    As for the date, for removing it you can add this code in Qode Options -> General -> Custom CSS field:

    .blog_holder .post .date {display: none;}

    for removing it on blog page or add this code:

    body.single.single-post .post .date {display: none;}

    for removing it on a single pages.

    Best Regards,

    Qode

    Hi Jesse,

    We found that you have set font-size: 0px for this info box in theme options:

    http://screencast.com/t/2nhjbH04RT4

    The code that we provided removes only the date and the autor info and not the category. To remove the entire info bar below the post title, add this custom CSS code:

    .blog_holder article .post_info {
    display: none !important;
    }

    If you need more spacing below the title, you can add it in Qode Options -> Blog -> Blog Single.

    To remove DEC 7 (date included in the post title) add this custom CSS code:

    .blog_holder article .post_text_inner h2 .date {
    display: none !important;
    }

    Hope this was helpful :)

    Is it possible to remove the title also?

    Qode replied

    Hi Emili,

    If you want to remove the title entirely from single posts, add this custom CSS:

    .single-post .blog_holder article .post_text_inner h2:first-child {
    display: none !important;
    }

    Hope this was helpful :)

    Hi! 4 years later, I'm also having a similar problem.

    QODE OPTIONS >  BLOG > HIDE AUTHOR - set to yes to hide author

    QODE OPTIONS > BLOG >BLOG SINGLE - set to NO to hide author

    Followed these steps via the Qode interactive tutorial video and via the webpage.

    Can this be fixed without using with the CSS? I'm a novice...

    Hi Tle_123,

    The first option that you are referring to should remove the author name from most blog lists, such as Blog Large Image, Blog Small image.

    The second option removes the author data from single posts ( below the post content / above the comments ):

    We will consider adding the option to remove the author name from single post info line, thank you for your suggestion.

    Okay, I understand. So, to remove the author and date (as in the person who created a blog post), I would need to do this within the css stylesheet?

    Thank you.

    Qode replied

    Hi Tle_123,

    Just insert the CSS into Qode Options -> General -> Custom CSS field and it will override predefined style. The CSS entered there is stored in the database and it's update safe. It is not recommended to modify stylesheet files directly.

    Hello, I am trying to do exactly the same (hide dates and hours) BUT on category pages.
    Could you help me with the CSS code to add ?
    Thank you in advance.

  • Joanna Lloyd replied

    I've tried the code detailed below and it doesn't make any difference!
    I would like to remove all the information below the date and title and nothing I have done works.  I have set hide Author  to yes in the settings doesn't take my name out.  I have looked at various questions asking the same and tried the different snippets of code suggested but none work.
    I'm at a loss as to why I can't remove it.

    Sorry I didn't add the screen shot
